After each cleaning, our team member provides a detailed checklist of the work completed, so you can easily verify the quality. We also provide an invoice or receipt for the completed work if required by your landlord. It will be sent to your contact email within 1 business day after the cleaning is approved and paid for.

Move-Out Cleaning for Apartments

Most property managers in Chicago require tenants to complete a professional move-out cleaning before vacating. Here’s what’s usually expected:

• Clean all surfaces and appliances (inside & out).
• Deep clean bathrooms and kitchens (including inside cabinets).
• Scrub baseboards and possibly walls.
• Clean floors: mop hard surfaces, vacuum carpets.
• Wipe light switches, doors, and doorframes.
• Clean closets, fans, and ceiling lights.
• Tidy balconies (if applicable).
• Remove all trash.

Unlike houses, windows typically don’t need to be cleaned for move-out inspections.

Important: most buildings ask for a receipt or invoice as proof of professional cleaning. We always provide a detailed checklist of completed work, plus a receipt that you can show to your property manager.
